When Sara isn’t working on classes in the Communications or English departments, you’ll find her just about everywhere else: she frequently attends and programs events at the Catholic Center, she’s a dancer in Mustang Mavericks, she travels all over the world and she’s a Tower Scholar. Feel free to shoot the breeze with her — she offers lots of knowledge and stories!

What is EPOCH?

Bill & Liz Armstrong - Bill & Liz are the donors who funded Armstrong Commons. Without their generosity, we’d be either homeless or stuck with a far more Crummy name (THE PUNS!). They met at SMU as geology students, love to boulevard and own a vineyard (you might even be able to see them this week at Armstrong-ing!). Yep, you can buy your own Armstrong wine (if you’re legal, obviously)!WHAT’S WITH EPOCH? - The vineyard the Armstrongs own is called Epoch Estate Wines. So we love “epoch” puns, i.e. Epoch Programming and the Sir Emerson’s “Epoch Tails” blog, which you can find online!
