Specialization
• Every year 50-70 officers are selected on merit for super-specialization and given upto three years full pay leave to train in premier institutions in India and abroad
• Ex-SSC Officers (after leaving the forces) are given opportunity to join PG courses or super-speciality courses in service institutions for up to three years without additional bond liability
• All medical cadets execute a bond for Service Liability which is to cover the free cost of training including messing lodging and allowances
