Arrive Christmas EveLuxury accommodation awaits, bedrooms stocked with Christmasdelights and for some, your own personal tree..! Enjoy a welcomeevening of cocktails, canapés followed by a celebration dinnerwith a little magic in the air! Ourpianist will then lead us into a shortrepertoire of favourite Christmas carols whilst you join us for a glassof mulled wine. You may then wishto visit the little country church forMidnight Mass. Christmas DayAs befits the occasion breakfast onChristmas Day is a leisurely affairwith a glass of Bucks Fizz. If youwish, you may wander in thegrounds enjoying the invigoratingfreshness of the air. Appetites stimulated, it is time for a festivefeast for all the family of six traditional courses followed by coffee and mince pies in the LakeRoom and Hall – watch out for a special visitor for the children.

After the Queen’s speech we wouldask you to wrap up warmly for acandlelight walk around the groundsof the hotel.

In the evening for those still with an appetite an informal cold buffet is served. In mellow mood we have pleasure in whisking your imagination away by way of ourlocal celebrity story teller!

Boxing DayBoxing Day dawns with time for a true Cumbrian Breakfast. At10.15am we invite you to a wonderful ‘Meet the Hawk’ displayon our front lawn. At 11.30am collect your packed lunch andchoose to travel by luxury coach foreither a low level walk or for themore strenuous a mid level fell walkculminating with piping hot mulledwine, hot chocolate and mince pieson your return to the Hall. Suitableoutdoor clothing and footwear areessential. (All outdoor activities areweather dependent).

Black Tie this evening at the Halland we hope you are feeling luckybecause after your sumptuous dinner we are staging a casinonight. Professional croupiers willteach the art of blackjack androulette using fun money. Fantasticprizes to be won throughout theevening...!

Children throughout theChristmas FestivitiesWe appreciate that Christmas is verymuch a family time and in additionwe have organised a programme ofevents for the young members ofyour family including games, videosand dvd’s throughout. Our Clown About Indoor Soft Play Centre recommended for the 4-12 yearsage group is situated at our LakeDistrict Wildlife Park. We regret that individual baby sitters will notbe available.

High Tea is included in the children’stariff (when sharing parent’s accommodation) except forChristmas Day when we expect allfamilies would prefer to dinetogether. Parents wishing their families to join them for all dinnerswill be charged an extra cost of £25 per child per meal and priorbooking is essential.

Children (under the age of 18) haverestricted access to The Spa and are only allowed to use the poolfacilities from 8.30am-10.30am and 4.30pm-6.30pm. Unrestrictedtimes for Christmas Day. The Spatreatment area and thermal suiteare adult only areas and the outsidehot tub is for the over 16 years only.Children must be accompanied byan adult at all times.

• Prices throughout are per person,based on sharing a double or twinroom and are inclusive of VAT at20% (prices will be subject tochange if the vat rate is changed).

• Where children are sharing withtheir parents an extra folding bedwill be placed in the room.

• Decorated Christmas trees areavailable in your bedroom for theduration of your stay (charged at£35.00 per tree).

• A confirmed booking verbal orwritten constitutes a binding contract.

• A £200 per person non refundable deposit is requested tosecure all bookings. A proformainvoice will be forwarded and full payment is required by 1stDecember 2018. Should paymentnot be made by this dateArmathwaite Hall reserve the rightto release the booking for resale. All reservations made after 1stDecember 2018 must be paid infull at time of reservation.

• Cancellation charges will be100% within 28 days of arrival.Cancellation insurance details canbe obtained from all insurancebrokers and we strongly recommend this action in theunlikely event of you having tocancel.
