During Midweek and Saturday pennant, if the outside phone rings, PLEASE could the person closest to it answer the phone.

It may be an EMERGENCY CALL WITH AN URGENT MESSAGE.

Please note the phone will ONLY RING SIX TIMES before it automatically goes to the message bank.

OUTDOOR BAR.

Outside Bar Discontinued on Saturday Afternoons

The Outside Bar will be open on selective days; particularly when it is very hot.

Its usage over these past weeks on Saturdays does not warrant its continuation on a regular basis.

The Clubhouse Bar will be open as usual during the break, and of course before and after Pennant.   

It was set up primarily for Barefoot Bowls, where the demand for a Bar outside is very high, and this will continue.

highlighting that Symptoms of a Heart Attack are DIFFERENT IN MEN AND WOMEN, stating that

Women are “more likely to experience non-chest pain symptoms of a heart attack” than men.

So it’s important you know the signs.

Hydration and dehydrationLast week I became dehydrated- why?

I didn't drink. It is easy to forget as one is concentrating on the game and doesn't think about anything else.

Unfortunately the temperature increased and instead of drinking more I didn't drink at all.

One of the side effects is loss of concentration and mental confusion which occurred in my case.

And I strongly advise players to have a bottle handy and drink from it.

How much water should one drink?

If you are of average weight for your height, then eight(8) glasses of water daily is ideal and increase

consumption when the weather is hot or when you are exercising.

Don't under estimate dehydration. Do the right thing DRINK

way of communicating urgent messages re pennant changes etc. on Tuesday and Saturdays.

to follow instructions from Google maps. It is now available for both midweek and Saturday clubs.

Go to side sections(the only section that allows PDF files to be downloaded) and select "Google Directions"

select the club you are going to and bingo the directions will be there for you to follow.
