The next level. Subtle rocker in the tips and tails with positive camber underfoot. This enhances carving while also disengaging the tip and tail to create a catch-free feel that’s ideal for buttering and nose and tail presses.
The best of all worlds. Rockered tips and tails combined with positive camber underfoot to promote flotation in soft snow and provide remarkable edge control in the harder stuff.
Traditional camber engages the tip and tail of the ski, enhancing ease of entry and exit into and out of a turn, while maintaining solid edge hold.
This method wraps the wood core with composite fiberglass layers creating a torsion box. The base assembly is inserted into the mold, then the fiberglass wrapped core and top material are added. A variable slant between the base and topsheet creates a super-durable and light ski with a balanced flex.
ABS sidewall meets cap construction – the best of both worlds. This engineering method combines the lightweight cap construction in the tip and tail with ABS sidewall underfoot, resulting in enhanced edgehold and significantly lower swing and overall weight.
This construction method creates the highest performance skis we offer. Two strips of ABS material lie directly along-side the core and over the ski’s edges, providing unequaled edge hold, core protection, and stability.

TECH FEATURES
The edge height and width is deliberately smaller and the steel is heat-treated to a proprietary hardness to increase durability and decrease weight.
A thin layer of rubber in the tip and tail and above the steel edges and under the binding mat to control vibrations, which unchecked can negatively affect performance in hard pack conditions.
A World Cup-inspired base that requires higher maintenance than the S7, the Comp Series pays for the extra TLC it requires in one way: Speed.
As the name implies, the 50/50 is faster than the S7 and more rugged than the Comp Series.
This edge has an oversized height and width and the steel is heat-treated to a proprietary hardness which helps resist breaking and tearing out from rails, ledges and any other abuse it might meet.
Improved for 10/11, the new S7 features a gliding additive for increased speed and longevity. Our toughest base, find the S7 on any ski that’s looking for rails, ledges, and boxes as much as snow.
An aluminum laminate layer stiffens the side camber deflection of the ski, which allows for tighter turns and increased dampening. Used exclusively in the new Triumph, it creates a ski with exceptional hold—especially on ice.
A blend of Carbon/Kevlar stringers that run along the tail of the skis to help stabilize it. This creates a better landing platform, especially when your weight is further back than intended. It also increases snap and adds pop to ollies .
Our edges are beveled according to the ski’s intended use. Freeride and all-mountain skis have less bevel to maximize edge grip, while park-specific models feature increased bevel to help avoid hang-ups on rails and boxes.
The custom drill bit increases screw retention in Armada’s skis by 20 percent.

STEPDRILL BIT
Two high density wood stringers sit along ultralight wood creating a light core with pop and solid edge hold, while keeping swing and overall weight down.
These core inlays are configured in the same way as the DoubleZone, TripleZone and UltraLight cores, but with pre-installed ABS layers laid alongside the core, directly under foot. Unique to our AR50 constructions, these cores concentrate the weight of the ski below the boot sole, increas-ing durability and lowering swing weight.
Using select 375kg/m3 wood stringers that have unusually high strength-to-weight ratios, UltraLight cores allow our widest skis to maintain a light-yet-stable feel.
We know from the core out exactly how each ski should react, so three kinds of fiberglass lami-nates are used in combination to deliver the exact amount of flex and torsional rigidity. Bi-axial fiberglass runs in an “x” pattern down the ski to control lateral flex. Uni-directional fiberglass controls flex along the length of the ski. And tri-axial fiberglass, with fibers running in three direc-tions, beefs up the center of the ski. The permutations of the three fiberglasses are nearly limitless and allow us to precision tune the performance of every ski we make.
Similar to the Double Zone core, but with a slow taper to 45 degrees toward the tips and tails. This eases entry and exit into and out of turns for lighter riders.

“Top of the line” doesn’t make any sense, because line’s don’t have tops—they have beginnings and ends. The LTD line of skis begins at “Terrain Park,” moves past “Groomed Piste,” and ends “Deep In The Backcountry.” These are skis without compromise and the purest expres-sion of everything we stand for. We’d say that the bottom line is the LTD Collection represents our flagship skis, but lines don’t have bottoms, either.

Creative application of EST Park Rocker to a park-specific chassis creates the next genera-tion ski for carving between transitions, but-tering off them, and floating beyond them. Stable under foot and loose and buttery at the tip and tails, the Halo slaughters the park. Patent pending.
The legendary AR6 was the perfect everyday ski for the all-mountain park skier, and for years we didn’t think it could be improved. Then we widened it a bit throughout and reconstructed it with the AR50 sidewall to lower its swing weight. The result was so impressive, it required a new name.

That’s why we consulted with the helicopter and snowcat guides who stand watch over them, and the filmers and photographers who stand still for them. We consulted with the artists who design our graphics, and materials experts who know what you’ll be wearing next year. The result? Wearable technology unmatched in the ski space.

New for 10/11, our DryRex fabric was developed with one thing in mind; to keep you dry and comfortable in the worst weather imaginable. This is wearable technology providing durable waterproofing, complete wind protection and excellent breathability to keep you dry from the inside out.
DryRex fabric utilizes 3-layer construction to create the most durable fabric in a lightweight package. Premium fabric that has been treated with a Durable Water Repellant for long lasting water repellency is then laminated to the waterproof/breathable barrier and nylon 6.6 backing. The backing protects the membrane, funnels any moisture build-up back out through the pores and further increases overall strength.
Developed to deliver a high standard of performance and a multitude of looks, our MegaRex Fabric is a two-layer fabric with a waterproof/breathable laminate coating plus DWR finish. MegaRex is durable, delivering excellent waterproofing and breathability in two ratings: 10,000mm/10,000g and 20,000mm/20,000g. This fabric is complemented by lining the garment with our SuperFlo Lining System to provide moisture management, warmth, and protection for the waterproof/breathable barrier.

Our SuperFlo Lining System is our strategically placed lining system for our 2-layer garments. It was developed to maximize function and comfort by allowing moisture to escape easily, and to provide snag-free layering and extra warmth in just the right places.
Our jackets are lined with reverse tricot fleece in the shoulders to provide warmth while its smooth face allows the jacket to slide during activity and allow proper alignment. Two types of mesh line the rest of the interior. Our custom ARV-printed closed-mesh is used in the body for the combination of warmth and breathability while its slick-face ensures great mobility by allowing snag-free movement between layers. Last, the under arm area is lined with a large open-mesh for maximum airflow and quick temperature regulation.
The SuperFlo Lining in the pants utilizes the same philosophy as the jacket, but different zones are targeted. We use fleece in the seat, open mesh in the inner leg area and the ARV-printed closed mesh for the rest.
Our PolyFill insulation is a lightweight material made from polyester fibers that insulates even when wet.
The gold standard in wind and water-resistant zipper technology, every component of Riri AQUAzip™ Water-Resistant Zippers is engineered and tested to keep you drier, warmer, and on the hill longer. First, a water-resistant film is laminated to the zipper tape. Then each tooth is bonded directly to the zipper tape with every half tooth offset to create a “shingle effect” that locks out wind and water. The zipper slider rides right on the teeth for smoother operation and increased durability.
The signature fit we established in our original outerwear line. Roomy without being baggy and comfortable at play or rest.
A common refrain among some team members was “not wider, just longer.” Our new Tall Fit delivers, adding 2-to-4 inches of length to the garment.
All Armada Outerwear is 100% seam sealed. Every seam is welded or taped to guarantee the waterproofing of the garment.
At Armada we strongly support mountain safety and avalanche education in the backcountry. If you spend any time out of bounds, we urge you to get educated and be properly equipped. It is in this spirit we are very proud of our partnership with RECCO and feature their reflectors in our line.
RECCO® is an avalanche rescue system utilized worldwide to facilitate the rapid location of burials. The two parts–reflector and detector–enable rapid pinpointing using harmonic radar but are not a substitute for transceiver use. Complementary in function, the RECCO system increases the chance of being found in time.Our down insulation is intended for use in the coldest conditions. The high-
