·get done·
At the center of the largest metropolitan area in the state ranked best for business, home to three professional sports teams, the largest business park in North Texas, and one of the fastest growing research institutions in the United States, there’s a lot happening in Arlington.
Arlington, the third largest city of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, has fought its way to prominence and along the way has developed a reputation for being a business-friendly city that is willing to do what it takes to get deals done. Twice voters stepped up when asked for major bond packages to keep and lure sports franchises to Arlington, and as a result, world-class, iconic venues have been built. When tasked with making Arlington home to the General Motors Assembly Plant, the city built a lake to properly expand its water source. Celebrating over six decades in Arlington, General Motors continues to believe in our community, and recently announced a $1.4 billion investment in Arlington Assembly — the largest single facility investment in the United States this year.
Arlington remains an open and accommodating destination for business and investment. It realizes that companies and their employees are the backbone of the community. It’s a big city that still holds strong to its small-town roots — where officials are accessible, economic development is prioritized, and businesses are free to pursue their dreams.
Known as “The American Dream City” and a gateway to DFW International Airport, Arlington is a place where anything is possible. It’s a place where convenience and comfort can coexist, side by side. A place at the center of it all, where living is affordable, talent is plentiful, and education is top-notch. A place where aspiration, collaboration, and hard work get dreams done.
Welcome to Arlington,
