2019 RODEO INFORMATION

The 2019 Annual Reunion Rodeo will be June 20th thru 23rd. Entry forms are enclosed and must be POSTED MARKED

by May 28th if you are planning on competing in the rodeo. The rodeo schedule will be the same as last year starting

with the Gymkhana Thursday morning at 10 a.m. Parking, camping, wristbands, meeting, Calcutta, dance, will all be

the same.

We have a new event at this year’s rodeo, so ladies make sure you practice up and enter the Ladies Breakaway

roping. There was a misprint in our January newsletter that said we will not be having the Wild Cow Milking. We will

NOT be having the Wild Cow Race this year. We are bringing back by popular demand the Wild Horse Race. Get your

Wild Horse Race team together and join the fun and excitement of our opening event during our daily performances.

Don’t forget there is $1,500 added to the Wild Horse Race.

The dance this year held Friday and Saturday will start an hour earlier than previous years. We are excited to have

Briana Payne Band playing this year at the barn dance. Grab your sweetheart and the family and join us this year

from 8 p.m. to Midnight at the tan barn for some dancing and good times.

If you are over the age of 21 please get a wristband. IF YOU ARE NOT 21 DO NOT WEAR AN OVER 21-YEAR-OLD

WRISTBAND. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT WITH AN OVER 21 WRISTBAND YOU WILL BE REMOVED FROM MEMBERSHIP

FROM ACRA FOR 2 YEARS AND WILL HAVE TO REAPPLY. If you have your wristband you will not need to carry your

membership card with you. Your wristband will allow you to park for free and allow you through the performance

gate each day. PLEASE come get your wristband Thursday at the secretary/entry office, after Thursday you will pick

up your wristband at the Beer Garden. If your wristband comes off, please bring it with you so you can exchange it

for a new one. We expect everyone to keep their wristband all weekend. If your child is over the age of 10, they will

need their ACRA Membership card to get into the rodeo performance. Please contact Carrie Gross to request a

membership card if you have not received one. Everyone will need their 2019 ACRA Membership card.

We are changing the parking up a little bit this year. We will allow everyone to park at the arena this year. Non-

members will pay $5 to park each day at the arena and will have a designated parking area. Members can park for

free, but you will need to show your membership card for parking or pay the $5. Please do not argue with the 4-H

group who is taking the money for parking. If you have an issue you need to contact Carrie Gross and she will handle

any issues you have. The 4-H Group will not be able to answer any questions or concerns you have. They have strict

orders to either collect $5 for each vehicle that comes through the gate or see an ACRA Membership card to be

allowed through for free. The lot across the street will still be available for parking and camping as well at no charge.

Thursday Jackpot books will CLOSE at 12:30 p.m.!!! The jackpot is a pick and draw and once the entries have closed,

we are not able to take late entries. So please plan accordingly to make sure you get entered. The Calcutta Auction

will start promptly at 5:30 p.m. Saturday night. Please come early to get your buyer number if you plan on buying

any teams, bronc riders or auction items. It is much easier on the ladies working the Calcutta if you get your buyer

number before the start of the Calcutta.

We ask that everyone please attend the General Membership Meeting, Saturday, June 22nd at 11 a.m. We vote on

new board members, discuss happening within the association and always open the floor for members to voice their

opinion. Come make your voice hear!!

Gymkhana entries are due June 5th, 2019. Remember the Gymkhana will be held Thursday morning. Please make

sure you mail your entries to Cassie Hambrick by June 5th. Thanks, so much Cassie for putting on the Gymkhana again

this year for our children. It is always a great time for our children.
