Egypt is one of the most popular countries in Africa and the most populated. The great majority of the people live near the Nile. Egypt has one of the longest histories of any modern city, in fact it is characterized by many monuments like pyramids. The economy is one of the most diversified in the Middle East, very developed in sectors such as: tourism and agriculture.
LEDC and MEDC
LEDC--> means Less Economic Developed country.
MEDC--> means Medium Economic Developed country.
When can we say that a country is LEDC or MEDC? There are many factors:

Population dynamics
The population dynamic is a study of changes and reasons for changes in the population size. Egypt is the most populous Arab country, with a population of about 75 million, ranks with Turkey and Iran as one of the largest countries in the region. The population was 10 million in 1897 and it grew slowly at an average rate of 1.3 percent per annum from 1897 to 1947. The growth rate was around 2.5 percent from 1950 to 1970, then it dropped to 2.2 percent. After the rate of population growth went up to 2.5 percent in 1975- 1980 and 2.6 percent during 1980-1985. Since that period, it has begun to fall as decreases in birth rates.
