• Reason: The grounds for Belief o Definition: Gaining understanding and forming judgements
o Source is God Himself (Genesis 1:27; John 1:1)
o Types of reason: Philosophical, scientific, Scriptural, testimonial (e.g. Holy Spirit), etc.
• Belief: Intellectual commitment to Truth o Belief that o Certainty vs. Justifying reasons o The Depth Chart
• Faith: Volitional commitment to Truth o Belief in (or Trust)
