"Living Water," a full color sound 36-minute motion picture, depicting the 100 - year history of evangelism in the Free Method­ist Church of North America, is to be shown in the Tonawanda First Free Methodist Church, 89 Adam St., Tonawanda, Pastor Albert A. Revell reported to The NEWS.

This film will be included in the 7 p.m. service tomorrow and community friends, particularly those interested in history and movement of evangelical church­es are invited to attend.

The Free Methodist Church of North America has extended it­self around the world through foreign missions, extension dis­tricts and via radio, with church­es on every continent except Aus­tralia.

Viewers will learn much of their heritage and purpose of the Free Methodist Church as they see old-time evangelism of a cen­tury ago in action, plus the sense of urgency to meet modern man's redemption needs.

Plan 'Big Push'

the weekend at Selma, Ala., organizing for the "big push" on the Dallas County Court­house Monday.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is scheduled to lead a march by Negroes to the board of reg­istrars in an effort to register to vote. Monday is the last day this month the board of regis­trars will be open.

Federal Judge Daniel H. Thomas Friday ordered the re­lease of 26 Negroes jailed at Selma on contempt charges for violating a state injunction against demonstrating. The or­der also clears the way for the release of about 60 other dem­onstrators at Selma.

At Jackson, Miss., the Mis­sissippi Democratic F r e e d o m Party concludes deposition hear­ings today. The FDP is gather­ing evidence to support a drive to oust Mississippi's congression­al delegation.

Former Mississippi Gov. Ross Barnett told the group Friday he was "mighty proud" to be a member of the citizens coun­cil but that any questions re­garding the group's activities were "immaterial and wholly ir­relevant" to the congressional challenge.

Also at Jackson, the U. S. Civil Rights Commission re­sumes its probe Tuesday into reports by Mississippi Negroes that they were denied the right to vote and mistreated by law enforcement officers. Testi­mony is expected to continue through Friday.

Elsewhere: Bluefield, W. Va.: A demon­

stration which was to be the largest civil rights protest ever held in West Virginia was called off early today. Police said Negro leaders gave no reason for the action but called it a postponement rather than a cancellation.

Indianapolis, Ind.: Seventy-five civil rights demonstrators sang freedom songs around a statue of Abraham Lincoln Fri­day in an Indiana statehouse march. The demonstrators said they were protesting a housing bill they termed "stripped of effective enforcement powers."

Urges Unity SAN FRANCISCO (UPI) -

Dr. Eugene Carson Blake, stat­ed Gerk of the United Presby­terian Church in the U.S.A., has urged American churchmen to redouble their efforts for Christian unity.

Blake, who recently returned from a central committee meet­ing of the World Council of Churches in eastern Nigeria, said a united church was neces­sary "lest in this revolutionary world we find ourselves so bound to our past histories that we are unable to be God's in­strument for peace and recon­ciliation across all boundaries of nation, race or class."

To Jews Rejected NEW YORK <UPI)-A top un­

ion official Friday protested the rejection of a design for a mon­ument to six million Jews who perished under the Nazi regime.

David Dubinsky, president of the International Ladies' Gar­ment Workers, wrote a letter to Mayor Robert F. Wagner, pro­testing the turndown by the city Art Commission.

The commission rejected a statue by Arthur Zygelboim, a Polish - Jewish leader who com­mitted suicide to protest exterm­ination of the Jews. One of the commissioners said it would have been too "tragic a pos­ture" and might distress chil­dren playing near it.
