Area I Community Town HallSpace-Available Care (Camp Casey AHC)

• What does it mean? – When a clinic is meeting the medical needs of Active Duty (AD) members and

their Family Members in a timely manner, and has excess capacity among the clinic staff, then retirees and their family members, DA Civilians, DoDEA employees, and contractors can book appointments

• How can we have more capacity?– Increase the number of days that providers are available in the clinic– Decrease the number of no-shows

• If space-available appropriates not possible, what than?– If you have an ACUTE medical condition which can be seen through one visit

only– For chronic medical conditions* which require regular management by a PCM,

this is not a good option. If you have chronic conditions, let us help you establish regular care with a physician at an international clinic
