From the Editor Joshua Dorward, 2L

Your SBA put in some major overtime to make sure that student election process was handled smoothly. Thank you to Heather Hoblit and John Salcido for orchestrating the critical first step in a successful transition!

The new SBA Constitu-tion has been updated to address outdated limitations and clarify procedures for improved efficacy. It will be

a cornerstone of future stu-dent development and a leg-acy of this year’s service. Thank you to Mike Percy and the constitution com-mittee for their hard work and significant contribution to the students!

In addition to being a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids, flaxseed oil can slow the digestion of proteins—useful for avoiding nighttime catabolism.

Volunteers in the CASA Program generally see a child on a regular basis, spend-ing about 10 to 13 hours per month on volunteer responsibili-ties. Approximately twice a year, Advocates submit reports to the court and attend a court hearing regarding the child. Please contact Kat Sripathy at [email protected] or (408) 573-5611 if you are interested in becoming a child advocate. Don't have the time? Become a Non Advocate Volunteer. SCU Event Information

A memorial Mass will be celebrated for the gift of Pope John Paul's life at 12:05 on Monday, April 4 in the Mission Church.

Pope John Paul II (1920—2005)

“When freedom does not have a purpose, when it does not wish to know anything about the rule of law engraved in the hearts of men and women, when it does not listen to the voice of conscience, it turns against humanity and society.” “Have no fear of moving into the unknown. Simply step out fearlessly knowing that I am with you, therefore no harm can befall you; all is very, very well. Do this in complete faith and confidence.” “Radical changes in world politics leave America with a heightened responsibility to be, for the world, an example of a genuinely free, democratic, just and humane society.”
