• Using your HandHeld (A Palm sized PC with a Scanner)Scan one of each Item and enter the quantity received

• Connect the HandHeld to the Back Office Computer—the Receiving Invoice will be transferred automatically

• Go to Receiving and work with the Invoice!

Do a quick comparisonto your paper invoiceto see if Total Wholesaleand Total Units match!

Did Wholesale change on some ofyour Items? Just double-click on any line to update Item Information! (details on the next screen)

Manually add anymissed Items directlyto the invoice using Product Lookup!

Receiving Module

Electronic Invoicing (EDI) availablewith most Grocery Vendors!

• The Scan Group will work with your Grocery Vendorto get you set up to receive invoices

(usually via email)

• Save your email attachment to your PC

• Invoices are automatically imported into the Receiving Module

• Go to Receiving and work with the Invoice!

EDI Invoices are received in electronically and are automatically imported. This means automatic posting of wholesale cost changes without you having to change a single one!

You may also choose to scan your invoice and merge it with your EDI file to display discrepancies

in quantity.

EDI Invoices

Invoice Details are displayed with your New Wholesale Cost, Margin and Retail pre-filled from

your EDI Invoice. A color-key alerts you if Margins are Slipping, Margin is Negative; if New Items are

added; and if Unit Count Differs.
