There is nothing wrong in being a Manglik. Mangliks are normal people. Most importantly, Mangliks should realizethat being a Manglik is not a matter to be afraid of; it is not the end of the world for them. Matters pertaining tothe intensity of the Manglik Dosha and its cancellation play major roles and these are to be studied deeply.

Sage Parasara's Explanat ion: Parasara's Brihat Parasara Ho ra Shastra, chapter 8 1, verse 47 quo tes th e fo llow ing:

"If M ars is placed in t he lagna, 12th , 4th, 7th and 8t h ho uses, with out any aspect orconjunction o f the b enefic planets, then the hu sband of such a wo m an w ill certainly havean early death."

Hence it is und ersto od t hat if M ars has an aspect of a benefic or is conjuct w ith a ben efic,then th ere is no d osha. In verse 48, he has given th e oth er im portan t exception as follow s:

"If a w om an w ith the w idowh ood yoga marries a m an w ith a sim ilar yoga of loss of spouse,th en such yoga will get cancelled."

Hence the second exception given by h im is th at M angal Dosha is cancelled, if bot h th e girland the b oy have M angal Dosha.

Except ions to M angal Dosha M angal Dosha gets cancelled in som e special condition s as defined below :

W hen M ars is in its ow n sign (Aries, Scorpio ) , exalted (Caprico rn) or in t he h ousesow ned b y planets considered to b e his friends (Sun, Jup iter, M oo n).

If M ars is in th e 2nd house, but in the signs of Gem ini or Virgo. If M ars is in t he 4t h h ouse, but in Aries or Scorpio. If M ars is in t he 7t h h ouse, but in Cancer or Capricorn.

M ars in th e 4th ho use (sign Sagitt arius). Rahu in th e 6th ho use.

Saturn (debilitated and ret rograde) in th e 8th ho use. Ketu in th e 12th ho use.

The native has a Virgo lagna w ith t he lagna lord and the 10t h lord M ercury (exalted)conjunct w ith t he 12t h lord Sun (form ing Budha Aditya Yoga), Venus (debilitated bu tform ing a Neecha Bhanga Raja Yoga) and Jupiter (7t h lord ). But th is doesn't qu alify M ars as a benefic. M ars is the lord of t he 3rd andthe 8th house, making it act as a m alefic. Its 4th aspect falls directly on th e 7th house,thereb y delaying the m arriage of t he n ative and also creating obstacles. An interestingthing to no te is that alth ough M anglik dosha gets cancelled to a m ajor extent, M ars'm alefic nature resulted in d elay of m arriage. M ars also aspects the 10th house along w ithSatur n's 3rd ho use aspect . This resulted in a sub stantial delay in th e native's career.

In t he Navam sa chart, M ars is not p resent in a friend ly sign (Libra) and rules the 6t h andthe 11th hou ses, making it a m alefic in th e Navamsa chart also.

The native is unm arried as of no w and although th e reason f or th e delay can be att ributedto m alefic M ars, it is not d efinitely due to M anglik Dosha.
