The auctioneer will accept anadvance of i cent up to 5°c., then 5c. up to $2.50, when loc. is the limit, upto $10, and thereafter not less than 25c. Hence any bid up to 50c. can beentertained, but after that the bid must be 55c., 60c., and so on. Such offers
