Frank O. Gehry es uno de los

muebles. En la serie de muebles

„Easy Edges“ de 1972 consiguió

conferir a un material tan coti-

diano como el cartón una nueva

dimensión estética. A pesar de

que resultan simplemente des-

concertantes, los „Easy Edges“

están construidos con la minu-

ciosidad propia de un arquitecto

y son extremadamente robustos y

estables. En este momento Vitra

fabrica cuatro modelos de esta

serie: Side Chair, Wiggle Side

Chair, Dining Table y Low Table

Set.

len. Met de meubelserie ”Easy

Edges“ uit 1972 is het Gehry

nieuwe esthetische dimensie te

geven. Hoewel ze zeer eenvoudig

lijken, zijn de ”Easy Edges“ met

zorg vervaardigd en uiterst

robuust en stabiel. Uit deze „Easy

Edges“ serie worden er nu vier

door Vitra geproduceerd nl.: Side

Table en de Low Table Set.

likes to use unusual materials for

his architecture and furniture and

with the furniture series ”Easy

Edges“ from 1972 he succeeded

in lending such everyday material

as cardboard a new aesthetic

dimension. Although they appear

unbelievably simple ”Easy Edges“

are constructed with the archi-

tect’s care as well as being very

robust and stable. Four models

from the series – Side Chair,

Wiggle Side Chair, Dining Table

and Low Table Set – are now

being produced by Vitra.
