Program: The project was to design a housing society (170 tenements) for the peoplebelonging to the High Income Group in the city.Site: The site was located outskirts of the Pune city and the locality is self sufficientwithin the range of 1 km.

Site area -27,600 sq.mBuilt up area -24,288sq.m

•All 3BHK are duplexes havingterrace gardens in the sky courts.•2m wide double height corridorlead to these apartments.

Design Approach: As designing wasmainly for the high income class, themajor things to be taken care of wasprivacy, ambience, calmness, quietnesswhich they need the most.

To achieve this, the concept of skycourts is used and a linear way ofplanning is adopted for the apartments.

Sky Courts

Apartments are clubbed in four buldings-2 buildings(3BHK), a building (consisting 2BHK & 1BHK) and a 2BHK building .

Design Approach

•Building – FREE FORM•FOLLOWING THE FLUIDITY OF THE NATURALFORMS AROUND.

•Site , being in Jaipur , experiences extremeclimate – VERY HOT SUMMERS & EXTREME COLDWINTERS.

•In case of clubs , outdoor spaces are equallyimportant as the indoor ones and outdoor spacesrequires protection from sun, so that they can beused even during day time.

•Creating a “HUGE FORT WALL” in the site andplacing the entire building along it ,to createprotective zones in the site.

CLIMATE COMPATIABILITY

•PLACING THE BUIDING IN SUCH A WAY THATIT GETS MAXIMUM VIEW OF THESURROUNDINGS.

PLANNING -Building flowing along the“fort wall” and differentactivity zones connectedthrough a long corridor.
