Tectura Designs’ origins date back to 1953, when a

terrazzo contractor named Ed Creske founded the

business as Wausau Tile & Terrazzo in his two-car

garage. Over the ensuing decades, the company

continuously demonstrated its commitment to

quality, and in 2015, Tectura Designs emerged as

the new name for America’s premier provider of

architectural products.

EcoPremierPAVERS

Tectura Designs’ EcoPremier pavers feature 100% recycled porcelain aggregate, and have a surface that mimics finely bush-hammered limestone. Offered in seven standard colors, with custom colors available.

In 2013, we recycled more than 1,784,000 pounds of porcelain that otherwise would be destined for the landfill.

Tectura Designs’ proprietary Lok Down unit is made to secure your roof paver ballast or your balcony, plaza and promenade paver areas. The unit is a base with nubs to align the paving unit with ease. A top plate, made to match or contrast with the pavers, fits into a recess, allowing for a flush walking surface. Colored bolts tighten the system together for a total rafted paving system.

PedestalSYSTEM

Our Terra-Stand pedestal system is designed for exterior application using Tectura Designs pavers on pitched roof decks, plazas, roof plazas, parking garages, roof terraces, and more by providing a level surface for installation of our concrete pavers. The system ensures precise paver alignment and even spacing that allows for drainage and air circulation critical to the health of a deck installed over any waterproof membrane. It also allows for easier access to the subsurface for scheduled maintenance or repairs without damage to the paved surface. Our system is available with partnering water proofing companies to provide a total system extended warranty.


EngravedPAVERS

Tectura Designs Engraved Pavers carry your custom lettering and artwork and can be used for an added touch to any project. Use them as a fundraising tool, or to jazz up a streetscape. Engraved Pavers are filled with an epoxy for ease of maintenance or for clarity of the text or image. With different technics we can achieve tone on tone images with our impression paver or with our custom designed engraving.
