Archies Artists
Well done to all our fantastic artists at Archbishop Beck for producing some wonderful artwork while we have been in lockdown. We are so impressed with the creativity and resourcefulness of our students in the materials and techniques they have used to create their artworks whilst at home!
Our year 7,8 and 9 students have been given different project ideas to make art at home such as recycled material projects and photography/photoshop ideas as well as drawing and painting projects which can be accessed on google classroom.
Well done to all our students that have created fantastic artwork so far and we look forward to seeing more of your artwork.
If you have created any art at home and would like to share it please send your artwork to Mrs Sharpe [email protected].

Freya McCall- “My inspiration is a rose, the symbol of peace which we need today in the sad times we are going through! I like that the petals on this rose look like the real petals on an actual rose.”
Ashleigh Stone- “There is a little bit of inspiration in my work the bottom picture is 3 mini pieces of paper twisted paper to make it look like a plait and the top one I folded it then made it look like a bow my inspiration was hairstyle.”
Ruby Hulme- “I got paper and just made loops and plaits but i think that i could use different papers next time and not just one type. I like how everything is connected and all overlap.”
Anna Kelly- “I used the powerpoint for inspiration.
“I like the shapes and textures of my work but I dislike it because there is some extra space. I used paper, glue and scissors. I did zigzags and plait textures and shapes. Next time, I will fill the page up more and use different materials.”
Igor Kolus- “I did some Origami with my Mum and we used paper A4 for the boat and small rectangle for the swan.”
