The company said this is the fourth project that was successfully developed and sold in Brazil. The website explained that the Spanish utility Gas Natural Fenosa bought the project from the Canadian company through Global Power Gen- eration (GPG), which is a joint ven- ture between Gas Natural Fenosa and Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) that is dedicated to international busi- ness, and has a current portfolio of 3,000 MW. According to Fenosa, GPG expects to invest about $117.5 million in the devel- opment of the project. GCC chiefs, US meet: The meet- ing between Chiefs of Staff of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the US side discussed on Thursday several topics of mutual concern, said Kuwaiti Army’s Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Mohammad Al-Khoder. Speaking to KUNA in a statement following the gathering, Al-Khoder added that the two-day meeting was fruitful in all aspects.
