Appalachian folks had their own take on these dolls, and would utilize an apple as the head for the doll. Our fourth class will focus on creating a doll in your own image to use for protection of yourself. With this course I do request you bring in an old article of clothing you would not mind having cut up. This will be added into the doll for a specific purpose.
