College, Kashipur (U.S. Nagar) located

in foothills of Kumaun Himalayas, was

established in 1973. College is about four

kilometers away on Bazpur Road from the

railway station. The college is spread over an

area of 33 acres. It is a co-educational institution

and is affiliated to Kumoun University.

VISION:

� To develop into a dedicated college

fraternity, striving to attain human

excellence in service of mankind.

� To see our students developing into trained

intellectuals with highest moral values and

social commitment.

MISSION

� To provide quality education that imparts

sound learnning and character building.

� To provide value education programmes to

inculcate moral values, social commitment

and dignity of labour.

� To develop an attitude of reconciliation

between men and nature, to help students

become peacemakers and keepers of the

good environment.

� To facilitate acquisition of knowledge and

projects and extra-curricular activities.

� To contribute to the socio-economic

progress of local community through

appropriate schemes, thereby ensuring

overall development of students.

Achievements

With its vast area the institution offers

wide range of extra-curricular activities i.e.-

N.S.S., N.C.C., Rovers & Rangers and

Sports facilities. In addition to that

institution provides wide -range of

academic flexibility in terms of courses

offered through Indira Gandhi Open

University, Uttarakhand Open University,

B.Ed.,Vocational courses like -Yoga &

Alternative Therapy and Diploma in

Tourism Studies at the college premises

itself.With faster growth in its infra-

structural facilities----the institution; as

embedded in its vision- is bound to nurture

research ambience among its students as

well as faculty.

awareness apart from regular features of plantation, hygyene maintenance etc..
