APSA QUIMITOXPROPERTIESAPSA QUIMITOX is an association of clays, diatomite, polyunsaturated fat from vegetal origin and non digestible carbohydrates from yeast extract, is used to counteract negative effects on the animals, induced by the presence of toxic metabolites in feed and raw materials. All the ingredients included in the product are specially selected to take full advantage of their binding and metabolic activity and properties. Association of four ingredients will act in a synergic way increasing the efficiency of each other. This effect will maximize the final effect of the premix additive, improving the sanitary status of feed and raw materials.

DOSAGE AND TARGET SPECIESAll species or categories of animals.Administration and dosage: Oral, mixed with feed and raw materials at the rate of 0.5 - 3 kg/ tonne of feed.

COMPOSITIONComposition per 1 kg:

Bentonite 450 g Sepiolitic clay 190 g     Kieselgur (Purified diatomaceous earth)  150 g Dried brewer’s yeast 180 g Vegetable oil 30 g

PROPERTIESAPSA QUIMITOX is effective due to the specific combination of active ingredients. The general action mechanism of the product will be defined as physical and special adsorption of  polar  particles,  e.g.  toxic  metabolites  from  usual  contaminant  agents  of  feeds  and raw materials. The activity of the premix will not  induce any damage or decrease of the nutritional value of feeds and raw materials.  

Adsorbing effect in the feed previously described, will be complemented with a physiological improvement effect on the animal induced by specific ingredients such as polyunsaturated fat.

APSA QUIMITOX IN-VIVO TRIALSAdsorbing capacity of two different concentrations of APSA QUIMITOX (1 and 2 kg/Tm) was determined.

APSA QUIMITOX IN-VITRO TRIALThe addition of APSA QUIMITOX in positive feeds has proven its effectiveness against poisoning  due  to  mycotoxins.  An  improved  animal  performance  and  a  decrease  of internal and external lesions in animals, has been observed in several trials after two weeks treatment.

The effect of using APSA QUIMITOX was studied in the presence of different mycotoxins contamination (1 000 ppb AFB1; 300 ppb T-2; 100 ppb OA; 500 ppb ZEN; 200 ppb DON; 300 ppb FB1). When a higher concentration of  APSA QUIMITOX was used it showed an even higher effectivity against AFB1, T-2 toxin, ZEN and FB1.
