SummarySince 2006, APS has undertaken a massive classroom (over 400) and educational space rebuild and remodel. These remodels add up to about 5 million sq.ft.A substantial portion of the above are kindergarten, fine arts, and music classrooms.In the same period APS has opened 11 new schools ( 3 HS, 2 Alternative,1 MS & 5 ES) that add up to about 4 million sq.ft.3 Elementary Schools were totally rebuiltAll new construction is being undertaken using sustainable materials and energy‐efficient principles.
