“He guides me in the path…”

Adopted soon!!

One of the boys that is really close to me is about to get adopted. His family visits regularly and calls me part of their family. The boy looks up to me whenever I talk to him. One time we were talking about his new family, he wrapped his arms around my shoulder, started crying and said, “I miss them so much.” These kids are craving so much to be accepted, to be loved, to be important to someone else. It such a blessing and brings so much joy to be part of their lives.

My Biggest lesson

Prayer Request

“And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. And since we know he heasrs us then

we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.”

That the kids find a true relationship with Christ and that they’ll grow stronger with Him

God places me with divine appointments with people who need the word.

LEARN MORE SPANISH!!!!

I am learning more and more about comfort. I was so used to comfort coming from Kauai and Biola, to the point where I really

didn’t need God because I had everything. Now living with basically nothing He is the only one I can go for comfort, and I’m learning that He is the greatest comfort and I was missing out on His amazing comfort. How can God be your comforter if your

already comfortable?

15 years old, living on the streets…

After many 2nd chances, one of the orphans got kicked out of the orphanage due to extremely bad behavior. He got sent to another orphanage and continued the bad behavior and ran away. Got into the wrong crowd and became what they call a“Chollo” (Mexican gangsters). He fled from that lifestyle and is now living in Tecate by himself in a Tiny

No family, No money, No papers, No Food…

10x10ft room made of flimsy wooden boards. I spend a day with him in Tijuana just hanging out and later watched a movie (it was his first time he watched a movie in a theater in over a year). The whole day he told me his life story and what he has learned and how badly he wants to live a normal regular life. He is 15 years old, no job because he is too young, no schooling because he has

no legitimate papers (birth certificate, certificate of grade level completion, no legal documents with his name [basically its as if he doesn’t exist]), no family because they are else where doing cocaine, no friends because they are all bad influences, no money, no food, he told me he sells his stuff to eat. When he gets older he wants to enroll in the bible college.

Renewed in Christ

One of the boys told me the other day some of the junk that happened to him when he was six or seven years old. He said he prays every night for forgiveness and that he regrets everything. I then told him some junk that happened to my life then I said, “do you look at me differently now?” And he said, “It doesn’t matter, the past is the past, that stuff doesn’t matter, your renewed in Christ.”

We took some of the older boys out to the movie theater and while we were sitting for the movie to start he started talking to me about worship. Out of nowhere he said,” I wish I can worship God with my all.” Because he’s at the age where they compete who is “cooler,” so they don’t close their eyes or lift their hands in worship because I guess that is considered “un-cool.” Then he said, “It shouldn’t matter what people think, worship is a time between you and God everything else doesn’t matter.” I continued to talk to him the importance of worship. Now I see him on his knees during worship, crying, hands raised. EVEN WHEN OTHERS WERE LAUGHING AT HIM AT THAT MOMENT!

Myself along with a couple other adults took the three oldest boys out into the poorest community and we gave out $500 worth of shirts, socks, wipes, ponchos, etc, etc. We also gave them Jesus tracks and invited them to church at Rancho De Sus Ninos. I put my arm around one of the older boys that complains about living at Rancho and I said, “You see how lucky you are to be living at Rancho instead of out here.” As he looked at the homes made of flimsy plywood, I never heard him once complain ever again.

I don’t care, I just want to worship

Showing them what’s Outside the Rancho Walls

One of the younger boys wrote a letter for me during worship, it had the most powerful words anyone has ever said to me and it came from a little boy. Here’s a little piece of what it said in English, “Now your life is easy because you are set free because he died and rose for your sins, you are free because you are very special to God he has huge plans for your life, your not just going to change peoples lives, your going to change countries.” Another time after church he came to me with a very scared and confused look on his face and said, “during worship I saw all these letters all over you, on your arms and face, and clothes, your whole body was covered in letters, but I don’t know why.” Next day he told me his other vision of me, “You were writing a book and letters were falling on you from the sky.” SO NOW IM A WRITEING A BOOK…he said the title is going to be “Mi Unico Camino.”

Boy that God speaks to!
