Students will soon be taking the state SBA (Smarter Balance Assessment) tests. We ask that you make sure your child gets a restful night’s sleep and a good breakfast the days of their tests. Also, please try to schedule any appointments on non-testing days. It is easier for the kids to take the tests with their classmates. Thanks for your help and support!

CMS choirs attended to Southwest Washington Choir Festival

7th grade choir -Excellent Rating8th grade choir- Superior Rating

All schools in our league attended the festival in the Tenino School District on March 17th. The Centralia Middle School Choirs performed to a very high standard. "You did a fabulous job and we look forward to what the future holds for these young singers!!" Each group performed three selections. Then, each choir was able to get a personal adjudication by one of the hired professionals and were given direct feedback on the choirs performance. It was a valuable experience and the students were at their best.

Thank you for your hard work!!

The C.M.S. Symphonic Band performed at the district band festival on March 15. The Festival was held at Mt. Solo M.S. in Longview Wa. The C.M.S. Symphonic Band, conducted by Mr. Blaser, received a Superior rating for their performance and the 50 students proudly represented C.M.S. in a positive and outstanding way throughout the festival.
