Hello,
April
2020
:Say goodbye to march and welcome April in such a
great way that it showers all its blessings on you.
Have a great April!
I would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to the residents, staff, and families during this time period where things are not the "norm."
I know it's rough not being able to see your families like you normally would. We would like you to know that the staff and Management are always here for you and if you need errands done or little things that your family would normally do, we are here for you. Also, take advantage of the Google Hangouts. If you have forgotten what that is, just ask one of the staff and we can help.
For all of the staff, thank you for always coming to work and putting your lives on the front line. We all appreciate it.
When this is over, we will have a gathering for family and friends. More to come.

Wow. I would have never guessed the situation the entire world is facing right now. Lockdown is hard on everyone, know we are doing everything we can to keep everyone safe and healthy. Please let us know if you have any questions or if you are not feeling well. Hand hygiene is important all the time but is more than important now. Please wash your hands frequently. We are all in this together. ~Ariann
A very special and heartfelt thank-you goes out to everyone who
helped with my husband’s fundraiser for his trip to see the ocean for the
first time. I would like to send special thanks to Michelle who came up with
the idea and recruited awesome staff (Ariann, Breann, and Melanie to men-
tion a few) to help make it a success. Thank you to everyone who assisted
in making baked goods, those that donated items for the raffle, and who
helped serve up brats to everyone. Also, a huge thank you to everyone that
purchased and donated money to the cause. We cannot express enough
how much you all touched our hearts.
Without everyone’s help he would not have been able to have his wish
of seeing the ocean come true. Jeff loved seeing the ocean and even found
a new hobby he enjoyed- getting manicures and pedicures done together.
To all my coworkers that picked up my shifts, sent me messages of
love and support, let me know you were a phone call away, and sent pray-
ers for us- your words of encouragement have been such a blessing!
I want to thank Home Again for everything they did to ensure I had
the time off with my husband in his last days and to welcome me back with
open arms. I am truly blessed to have great family, awesome friends, and a
fantastic work family and community to be a part of.
Thank you again,
Forever and Always Thankful,
Pam (Jeff) Zander

Lorretta, our family artist, has been doing art work for many years. She
started in teaching ceramics in her home and then the Beaver Dam Senior
Center asked her to teach at the center. She poured her own castings and
made everything from scratch. Her students came from all over to make
beautiful items for their homes and gift items to give away.
After taking many personal classes she mastered porcelain
painting and taught this at the Beaver Dam Senior Center.
She touched many lives and made many friends with her
beautiful work.
Lorretta has three children, nine grand-children, great
grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Danielle is our April employee of the month! Danielle has three
children; Jaelynn (7), Camdyn (5), and Aliya (3). Danielle has two jobs;
she has been working at Home Again since 2014 and she also works at
UW Medical foundation as a CMA and has been there for 4.5 years.
Danielle is such a hard worker and always is going above and beyond.
Please congratulate her on being employee of the month and thank her
for everything she does.
Spring is one of the four conventional temperate seasons, fol-
lowing winter and preceding spring
There are various technical definitions of spring, but local usage
of the term varies according to local climate, cultures and
customs.
When it is spring in the Northern Hemisphere, it will be autumn
in the Southern Hemisphere.
The earliest known use of the term ‘spring-cleaning’ was in 1857.
he fall and spring equinoxes are the only two times during the
year when the sun rises due east and sets due west.
Every year, allergies constitute over 17 million outpatient office
visits, mostly in the spring and fall
In the Southern Hemisphere, springtime lasts from August until
November.
The first spring flowers are typically daffodils, dandelions, lilies,
tulips, iris and lilacs to name a few.
Arizona and Hawaii do not follow daylight savings. They already
have enough sunlight and hot weather, so it doesn't make sense
to confuse the sleeping cycle of their residents.
Many people say you're more likely to see snow at Easter than
at Christmas. This is borne out of statistics to some extent -
snow or sleet falls on average 3.9 days in December, compared
to 4.2 days in March. However, because Easter is a 'moveable
feast', it can also take place in April, which has only 2.3 days of
snow or sleet fall. So it depends on exactly when Easter falls in
any given year.
During this difficult time everyone is here for you! I would
also like to take this time to tell everyone we are still doing
exercise and activities we just have to modify it a little. Exercise
is everyday at 10AM, but we can only have 5 people at a time
and we have to be 6-10 feet apart from one another. For
activities we have two groups; Group A and Group B. Staff will let
you know which group you are. For milkshakes and wine with
cheese and crackers, staff will bring them to your room or we
can come out how we do for meals in your groups and sit where
you would for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We really want to
keep you guys active! Lastly, you are allowed to come out of
your room for a walk, or to even sit by the fireplace to read the
newspaper. Please during this difficult time stay active and go
for a walk or do some activities.
If anyone has any question ask Michelle or Ariann, if you
have any questions about activities please ask Breann,
THANK YOU AND BEFORE
WE KNOW IT, THIS WILL
ALL BE OVER :)
