Signage is aminimum infrastructure expectation.Tier 2 State Bike Corridors are low traffic volume roadways (less than 1500 ADT) and connect with Tier 1 routes. Signage is a minimuminfrastructure expectation.Tier 3 State Bike Corridors are higher traffic roadways that provideconnections in locations without low-traffic roadways. Five footshoulders are a minimum infrastructure expectation.

The State Bicycle Network shows proposed conditions for bicycling within North Dakota. Infrastructure expectations are recommended to be developed over a 20-year timeframe. Existing conditions may not match identified infrastructure expectations.
