A few notes on ways to pray during this unique and difficult time of our lives. The Pastor has prepared these in hopes they’ll be helpful reminder: 1) We can pray with authority: He 4:14-16, Ps 40 God has given you both the authority and the responsibility to pray. AND God is listening. We pray boldly, confident I Christ as our high priest. Pray knowing that the Lord hears you, and don’t be afraid to be specific. 2) We Should be expecting God to move: James 5:13-18 “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective”. Prayers are especially effective if they are given in combination with a faithful life. Righteousness means “right actions”. Our willingness to walk in God’s ways and live what we believe has a positive effect on our prayer lives. 3) We need to look for ways God will use us to answer the

prayers of others: Matthew 25:31-46 (esp 35 & 36) Keep track of what you’re praying for using a list or a journal. Keep track of answered prayer and you will be both surprised and blessed to see God at work in and around you. A Christian who is willing leave open space in their heart, in their schedule and in their lives is one who is ready both to recognize God at work and to be a part of the work of God themselves.

Whom Shall I Fear God Of Angel Armies

Verse 1 You hear me when I call

You are my morning song Though darkness fills the night

It cannot hide the light Whom shall I fear

You crush the enemy underneath my feet You are my sword and shield Though troubles linger still

Whom shall I fear

Chorus I know Who goes before me I know Who stands behind

The God of angel armies is always by my side The One who reigns forever

He is a friend of mine The God of angel armies is always by my side

Verse 2

My strength is in Your name For You alone can save

You will deliver me Yours is the victory Whom shall I fear Whom shall I fear

Bridge

(And) nothing formed against me shall stand You hold the whole world in Your hands

I'm holding on to Your promises You are faithful You are faithful

For Freedom, Christ Has

Set Us Free

"For freedom, Christ has set

us free!"

What joy is ours to claim!

No more enslaved, humanity

Finds life in Jesus' name.

We try, Lord, to be justified

Through all the works we do.

Yet you adopt us, saying,

"Child,

It's Christ who makes you

new."

We're clothed in Christ and

we belong;

Now no one waits outside.

In him we find our

common song;

Old ways no more divide.

"It is no longer I who live,

But Christ who

lives in me."

He died for us,

new life to give —

And new identity.

Now, Spirit-filled, may we be led

From ways that would destroy.

May we your people turn instead

To lives of love and joy. May we find peace that

makes us whole And patience everywhere.

God, give us kindness, self-control,

And hearts and hands that share.
