    INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW:

What is your special memory of winter?

Yim San Yun - celebrating Christmas and her husband's birthday.

Jackie Thomas - making a snowman and throwing snowballs.

Ater Sevilla - in Yonkers, walking and sliding on the snow, skiing with her children and now watching

    her grandchildren ski.

Albert Muga - in 1984, there was a bad snow storm that covered cars and it piled up around his door,

    locking him in.

Olivia Miranda - adapting to our cold winter after leaving the Philippines.

Camencita Mateo - viewing the trees with no leaves and the water's edge that she saw when visiting her

    daughter in Wateredge Conger.

Angela Magno - shoveling snow for exercise.

Napoleon Lao - going on a family vacation to Toronto.

Flo Cawley - enjoying the snow long ago.

I remember walking almost one mile to and then from high school in the cold winter. One winter, I had

a swimming class right before I left school. Believe it or not, it was my healthiest winter.
