Freedom of the City for Belfast Nurses Belfast City Council is to award the Freedom of the City of Belfast to nurses who have worked or trained in Belfast at an event to be held on Wednesday 25 May at Belfast City Hall. To celebrate this occasion, a number of places for the gala event will be allocated to nurses via a ballot to be drawn by the Lord Mayor of Belfast at the end of April. If you wish to have the opportunity to attend the event you must participate in the allocation process by completing an application form. End-of-life care and physician-assisted dying: reflections and recommendations This project overseen by a steering group appointed by BMA Council was launched in November 2014. It aimed to examine both the public and medical professionals' attitudes on aspects of end-of-life care and physician-assisted dying.
