NIPEC has refreshed its website to make it more user-friendly and responsive to the needs of the user. Within the revised design, news features have been incorporated, including Meet the Team (a dedicated section devoted to the members of the NIPEC Senior Management Team), an improved Resource Section (which includes many of the products produced by NIPEC through their project work) and an extended publication section, including an extensive search feature meaning that documents and reports can be found easier. Freedom of the City for Belfast Nurses Belfast City Council is to award the Freedom of the City of Belfast to nurses who have worked or trained in Belfast at an event to be held on Wednesday 25 May at Belfast City Hall. To celebrate this occasion, a number of places for the gala event will be allocated to nurses via a ballot to be drawn by the Lord Mayor of Belfast at the end of April. End-of-life care and physician-assisted dying: reflections and recommendations This project overseen by a steering group appointed by BMA Council was launched in November 2014. It aimed to examine both the public and medical professionals' attitudes on aspects of end-of-life care and physician-assisted dying.
