Page 1 April 2015 Next Meeting: Monday, April 6th, 7PM “THE WEIGHTING GAME” Robert Springer will be giving a technical on down, up, friction, and balance weights. The class will have some discussion in the beginning to refresh technicians on the concepts and to bring others up to speed if this is their first time measuring these parameters. After this introduction, the majority of the class will be spent doing hands on experiments. The attendees will be split up among multiple stations, each station having its own action model to measure. Technicians will document their findings by following a step-by-step guide at each station. Near the end of the class, the groups will share with the class a short summarization of what they found, because each station contains a different experiment. For an example see: https://youtu.be/L4qY3FFc44w Attendees are required to bring a pencil and their own touch weights to be able to measure down weight and up weight. All other materials will be supplied. If you do not own a set of touch weights, hopefully you are in a group with someone who does.
