Thank-you to our Rink volunteersLots of consistent cold weather and hard working volunteers made for an excellent rink season this year. We would like to thank the rink coordinator Trevor Poole and his family, rink attendants, parents and student volunteers for all their hard work in keeping the rink well organized and maintained. We are very fortunate to have dedicated volunteers who provide an essential Canadian winter pastime for families in the community and also for Knoxdale and Greenbank schools. The kids have greatly enjoyed a classic Canadian winter sport on some of the best ice in the city!

Thanks to all the volunteers, sponsors and attendees of this years winter carnival! Winter weather activities such as our sleigh ride, snowshoeing and skating were enjoyed by many families and neighbours. Indoors kids had lots of fun with Dr. Kaboom, hot chocolate, hot dogs and chilli. Thanks to our local community businesses who are so supportive of our events. We appreciate your support and will continue to support your businesses as well. A big thank-you goes to the IDA who sponsored our sleigh ride this year. It’s something that everyone looks forward to.
