2018 REGIONAL DAY OF SERVICE
The Mighty Mid-Western Region along with our Regional Teen Board is once again poised for an impactful Regional Day of
Service & Action. Mothers, please join me in sharing this message with your teens, as we make this ask:
1. Read NTB Open Letter explaining the Global Youth Day of Service: April 20, 2018, to visit your state legislators or volunteer
in your community
2. Have your parents sign the "Parents Promise To Keep" contract supporting gun safety and to stop gun access and violence
3. Post a photo of you and your parents with the contract with the hashtags:#PPTK #MWRPPTK #MWRDAYOFSERVICE2018

Goal During TLC2018 we are making plans for an awesome Community Service Rally and Event where we will be hands on to benefit others. In addition to our Community Service initiative at Cass Technical High School, this year we will also leave money in the Detroit Community.
GOAL: $3,500-$5,000

Action Mid-Western Region Jack and Jill Teens, it’s time for a TLC CS CHALLENGE!!! Each Chapter Teen is asked to #Sacrifice by saving the money that you would normally spend on snacks, Starbucks, and your favorite items at the Mall, to make a difference in the
lives of youth in Detroit.
