SPIRITUAL EMPHASIS, NEXT WEEK April 19-23, our students have the opportunity to go to chapel multiple days as we celebrate our annual Spiritual Emphasis Week. This week is set aside as a time for students to focus on the Lord and be impacted by His Word and teachings. Our focus this year is once again on World Missions, giving insight to the kids on how the gospel is being spread to many in other unique parts of the world. All chapels will be live streamed and we will have some classes in person as well. Please be in prayer for our presenters and that this will be a rewarding time for all.

BOOK FAIR ENDS TOMORROW Tomorrow is the last day students will be able to purchase books from our

in-house Scholastic Book Fair. This year, we have two different book

fairs—one for K-5 students in the main building and one for 6-8 students in

the middle school building. Purchases may be made by cash, check,

credit or debit card, and/or eWallet. EWallet is a new Scholastic program where parents,

grandparents, etc. can put money in an “electronic wallet” so students do not need to

worry about carrying around money or checks with them. To use eWallet, go to our book

fair homepage at www.scholastic.com/bf/trinitychristianschool3. All proceeds from both

book fairs will go back to our elementary and middle school libraries. Thank you for your

support!

Volunteer Nation: CURRENT NEEDS

LOADS of April and May daily needs for recess, lunch and midday cleaning volunteers (schedule found on the website or posted on the volunteer bulletin board in the office.) Descriptions for these volunteer opportunities can be found here.

Dads! Heavy Lifters, Sunday, April 18: 3-5 p.m., need 8 men to move 18 wood risers to the stage for the 5th-8th grade musical

Weekend Warriors, Saturday, May 1: This is a great opportunity for families with parents who work full-time! This service is to help Mr. Kraker with extra cleaning around the school from 7-9 a.m.

Dad/Daughter & Mom/Son Selfie Scavenger Hunt, Saturday, May 1: Volunteers needed this event.

Classroom Monitors for Teacher Appreciation Luncheon, Friday, May 7: approximately 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., classroom monitors needed to manage EACH classroom while teachers enjoy the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon. Teachers will provide plans for volunteers during this time.

Graduation Day Help, Thursday, May 27: 1-3 p.m., 4 people needed to decorate; and 6-8:30 p.m., 3 volunteers needed.

Trinity Christian School Employment Opportunities We currently have two consistent positions open. Substitute Teachers We are seeking substitute teachers for the coming school year. Substitutes must be able to step into a classroom environment to teach on short notice. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required and a teaching certification or substitute license is preferred. Qualified substitutes must believe that the Bible is God's Word and standard for faith and daily living and must be in agreement with Trinity Christian School's mission and philosophy of education.

Part-Time Maintenance Position We are currently accepting applications for an afternoon/evening part-time maintenance position. The position would, under general supervision, keep assigned building interiors clean and orderly, perform a variety of custodial and minor building maintenance duties, as well as other related work as assigned. The schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday after school for approximately 20 hours a week. A tuition discount is also available.

Full-Time Elementary Teachers (next school year) We seek energetic teachers for the 2021-2022 school year. Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and a current state teaching certification. The teacher must believe that the Bible is God's Word and is the standard for faith and daily living. You also must be in agreement with Trinity Christian School's mission and philosophy of education. This opening is a self-contained class in which the teacher is responsible for teaching the core subjects. The teacher shall prayerfully help students learn attitudes, skills, and subject matter that will contribute to their development as mature, able and responsible Christians to the praise and glory of God.

SCHOOL SUPPLY KITS AVAILABLE ONLINE

We are excited to announce that school supply kits for 2021-2022 are available for purchase now, through

School Tool Box. School Tool Box offers pre-packaged school supply kits filled with most of the supplies

requested by your child’s teacher. Kits are offered per grade level and will be available to pick up at school

during Jump-Start Night, Aug. 16. The kits are a cost-effective and convenient way to purchase your back-to-

school supplies. Visit www.schooltoolbox.com for more information and to place your order. Orders need to

be place before June 27. Also, for every supply kit that is purchased, School Tool Box will provide one meal

through Feed My Starving Children. *Please note that there may be items that are not offered through School

Tool Box that may still need to be purchased. Check the supply lists on Trinity Christian School’s website to
