Agenda 1Welcome to MRSNZ/AMRO

– Member associations passionately welcome MRSNZ/AMRO as our newest member association.

– Congratulations and let’s create a new path together to make all researchers in Asia Pacific happier, more motivated, and more confident.

– Only researchers in Asia Pacific know the truth of people in this emerging and diversified market by collaborating closely among the APRC communities.

AGENDA 2: New APRC is on a New Journey -Personnel Changes and Structural Reforms of the APRC -

Page 7

BACKGROUND

Mr. Norio Taori’s term of Chairman of JMRA is to be fulfilled by the end of FY2012, and this change of personnel at JMRA willbe officially announced in May next year at the general assembly of JMRA in Tokyo.Accordingly, Mr. Taori’s current role of the APRC, Committee Chair of the APRC, is to be immediately handed over to the rest of the committee members, in order to implement smooth transfers of power in the APRC.Consequently and quite naturally, Mr. Michihiro Ota’s current role of the APRC, Secretary General of the APRC, is to be also immediately handed over to the rest of the executive secretary members, in order to implement smooth transfers of administrative operations in the APRC.Under such circumstances, Dr. Ick San Roh (KORA), Mr. Andy Zhao (CMRA), and Mr. Peter Harris (AMSRS), who are all the founding members of the APRC since the era of "ACJK" network which was the mother body of the APRC, seriously and energetically discussed and have unanimously agreed the following personnel changes and structural reforms of the APRC.

STRUCTURAL REFORM

Committee Chair of the APRC: As the annual conference of the APRC is the most important and core function and activity of the APRC, Committee Chair of the APRC should be the same person who is a representative of each member association, such as chairman, President, etc. of the national association which is to host the annual conference of the APRC. Therefore, the term of the Committee Chair of the APRC should be one year and new chairpersons will be succeeded by the following associations which are to host the APRC conferences in the following years.

Secretary General of the APRC: As the activities of the APRC as well as their directions, implementations, and managerial audits should be consistent in the long-run, and so Secretary General of the APRC who is to take care of those broad range of responsibilities at the APRC should be in charge of those roles for a certain period of time. However, among the APRC member associations, there is a quite few association which can manage such roles in a more professional manner, but AMSRS, Australia Market and Social Research Society, is believed to be able to manage such roles in a more stable and consistent manner, with international-minded communication skills and rich experiences in creating crossover collaborations across the boarders.

Advisory Board: In order to make the personnel changes and structural reforms of the APRC smoothly, peacefully, and effectively, "Advisory Board" is to be newly constituted as needed basis. Advisory board members of the APRC are to be the persons who served as former Committee Chairperson, former Committee members, former Secretary General, former Executive Secretary members, and other key persons who contributed to developments and promotions of the APRC in the past.

AGENDA 2: Structural Reforms
