• Yourdigitalaccountwillbeusedtopay100%contributiontothecostoftrainingforallyournewapprenticestarts
• Ifyouhaveusedallyourdigitalaccountfunds,youwillneedtopayyourprovider10%costoftrainingforyourapprenticesviatheirnormalinvoiceandpaymentchannels
• Youwillnotneedtopayanythingtowardsthecostoftrainingyourexistingapprenticesunlesstheyprogresstoanotherapprenticeshipprogrammee.g.Level2toLevel3orstartanewtrade/subject
• Youwillbeentitledtoa£1,000incentivepaymentforrecruitinga16-18yearoldapprenticeor19-24yearoldapprenticewhohasbeenincareand/orareonanEducationandHealthCareplan.Thiswillbepaidtoyouin2instalments-£500after3monthsand£500after12months
• Toaccessthefundsheldinyourdigitalaccount,youwillneedtosigncontractswithbothyourApprenticeshipProviderandtheSkillsFundingAgency(SFA).
The Government want Employers to take more ownership of Apprentice training and have given the following responsibilities back to employers:-
• Settingapprenticeshiptrainingexpectationsthatmeettheirindustryneeds–Trailblazers–thenew“Standards”
• Choosingyourapprenticeshipproviderfromanapprovedlistandagreeingtrainingcostswiththem.
