Gaining Potential in the areas of strengthSignificance of Appraisal Gives the company an analysis on the development of each individual on which the overall growth and success of the firm is based on.Elements of Appraisal Process: The main members in the Appraisal Process are1. Appraisee: Employee which is being assessed. Any individual who is working in the company.2. Appraiser : The Primary Employee/Immediate Supervisor who evaluates the Appraisee. This could be his Project leader/ Supervisor based on the role of the Appraisee. He will the Primary person who is entirely aware of the work done by the Appraisee and to whom the Appraisee is reporting in the Current Appraisal year.3. Reviewer: The Secondary Employee who evaluates the Appraisee. This could be his Project Manager/ Supervisor based on the role of the Appraisee. He will be just monitoring on the Apraisee and Appraiser if the Process is going in an effective manner and will help in reviewing the goals set to the Appraisee and will help the Appariser in evaluating the Appraisee.4. HR : The role of HR is key to the Appraisal. He will be monitoring on the basic needs of the employee in raising the Appraisal Process and will guide the employee till the end of the Process and will be responsible for the satisfaction of the employee.Types of Appraisal Process:1. H2Final Anniversary:This intiated only once int the first year of joining the company.H1:Every Year this will be rating based evaluation in the first half i.e from April to December.H2:This is a band based evaluation on which the Salary hike is decided .
