SEAD MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

1. Associate Member ( 2 points required )- Must be a licensed CE (must be PICE member);- if employed as structural engineer / designer, 2 years continuous

structural design experience ( 2 points );

- for private practitioner, he must have at least 4 years teachingexperience of structural design subject ( 2 points );

- for those with masters degree or with masteral units, he must haveearned at least 12 units structural engineering subjects ( 2 points );

- in any of the above, he must have at least 2 references (should beSEAD members) who are familiar with his qualification ( 2 points );

- additional documents as SEAD may require2. Regular Member ( 5 points required )

- Must be a licensed CE (must be PICE member);- ASEP members ( 5 points );- if employed, at least 5 years structural design experience (5 points );- for private practitioner, at least 40 projects design (5 points );- 9 CPE units structural engineering topics from seminars ( 2 points );- 3 years as associated member of SEAD (4points);- at least 3 references (SEAD members)
