Bonjour!
Bonjour, everyone! That means “hello” in French! We finally made it to Europe, and
our first stop is Paris! We’re having a good time here. It’s a really interesting place,
never boring. There is a lot to see and do. Yesterday morning we went to an art gallery.
It was really crowded; there were so many people! After that we went and had lunch at
a restaurant. It was good but expensive. Then we walked around the old part of the city.
It was so quiet and peaceful. I am writing this blog entry in a cafe in the most beautiful
city square. We’re taking lots of photos.
Love,
Alice and Jenny

A difficult day
Hello, everyone! Hope everything back home is going well! We’re in Cairo right now.
The hotel is a long way from downtown, and it’s on a very noisy street. It’s impossible
to sleep at night. We’ve visited a lot of monuments. The pyramids were fantastic! We
saw the Sphinx yesterday, but it was smaller than we expected. It was really touristy,
with a lot of people selling souvenirs and things. It’s also incredibly hot. Jenny feels a
little sick today and she’s staying in bed. I hope she feels better when we go to Luxor.
Love,
Alice and Jenny
