The Universal Intellectual Standards:1- Clarity (e.g. could you give me an example?) 2- Accuracy (e.g. How we could find out if that is true?) 3- Precision (e.g. could you be more specific?) 4- Relevance (e.g. how does that relate to the problem?) 5- Depth (e.g. what factors make this a difficult problem?) 6- Breadth (e.g. do we need to look at this in other ways?) 7- Logic (e.g. does all this make sense together?) 8- Significance (e.g. which of these facts are most important?) 9- Fairness (e.g. do you have any vested interest in this issue?). • “Someone who does not just accept things as they first appear,” but he is searching for the root of the truth by himself. (A. Mujallid, 12 Apr, 2011).

• My definition: the one who has curiosity to know more than what he learned, and to learn why things are happened.

Implication: • The teacher decided to focus on the critical thinking more

than she used to and ask the students harder.
