50 youth repaired 4 homes

& ASP was born

Since 1969:

300,000 volunteers have

repaired 15,000 families’ homes

Volunteers make homes warmer, safer, & drier for

low-income families in Central Appalachia

Each year:

16,000 volunteers from

all over the United States

Repair about 550 homes

32 rural Appalachian

communities in Kentucky,

North Carolina, Tennessee,

Virginia & West Virginia

handicapped ramps, & perform a host

of other repairs

experience required
