iPad App Evaluation Rubric The following rubric is a guide to evaluate the usability of specific iPad Apps in the classroom setting.

Content of App is appropriate for students, but has limited educational value.
Content of App is appropriate for students and supports academic instruction.
Feedback App does not provide feedback.
App provides minimal feedback.
App provides feedback at a variety of levels.
Engagement Users are not engaged with the content of the App.
Users have minimal engagement with the content of the App.
Users are fully engaged with the content of the App.
Customization Users are not able to customize settings of the App.
Users are able to customize a small portion of the App.
Users are able to customize their experience with the App.
Usability Users are not able to launch and navigate the App.
Users are able to launch and navigate the App with minimal assistance.
Users are able to launch and navigate the App without assistance.
Source The source/vendor of the App has received low or negative reviews.
The source/vendor of the App has received mixed levels reviews.
The source/vendor of the App has received high-‐level reviews.
