JUSTIFICATION verse:Now that we have been JUSTIFIED by faith,
we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:1)
God REGARDS you as just (innocent)
It is “JUST AS IF” you had never sinned
SANCTIFICATION verseThis is the will of God, your
SANCTIFICATION, that you abstain from sexual impurity … (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
SANCTIFICATION meaningSANCT means hold.
Holy means “set apart from evil, for God’s use.”
Althoiugh yiou are not very holy, God keeps changing you wo you act more and more like His child. That “changing” is sanctification.
God loves you …Just the way you are (JUSTIFICATION). But
…
God loves you so much that He doesn’t LEAVE you the way you are …. He changes you (SANCTIFICATION)
This power point is about SANCTIFICATION.
The process of SanctificationAs soon as we become aware of sin, we ask
for forgiveness, and ask God to keep changing us, to strengthen our new life.

The results of SanctificationGod has decided to conform you to the image
of His son (Romans 8:29)

The results of Sanctification
Jesus said, “If a man remains in me, and I in him, he will bring forth much fruit.” (John 15:5)
Fruit means results --- that includes others becoming Christian, and also a change in your life (next slide):

It is not that we struggle to produce these for God. Rather, God produces them in us.
