ABOUT IMPRI

Impact and Policy Research Institute (IMPRI) is a Government of India recognized start-up (DIPP23738) think-tank for evidence-based policy research, established in May 2018. IMPRI is registered in Jharkhand and has offices in Ranchi and New Delhi (Headquarters). It has been incubated by NEXUS: The Innovation Hub at the American Centre, New Delhi by the IC2 Institute of University of Texas at Austin, Texas, supported by the US Government. IMPRI is also registered by the Ministry of Micro, Medium and Small Enterprises, Udyog Aadhaar Number JH20E0016128. At IMPRI, we engage in research, monitoring and evaluation and impact assessment and specialize in qualitative and quantitative analysis. These are sought to be attained by strengthening analytical frameworks for actionable solutions by pursuing three types of activities: 1. Building Dynamic Evidence: With a highly qualified team and a network of reputed scholars and policy practitioners, IMPRI conducts cutting-edge research, evidence-based impact assessment, monitoring and evaluation and advocacy. 2. Deepening Public Debate: Underlying IMPRI's work is a strong commitment to good governance, rule-of-law, tolerance, market economy and democratic principles. By leveraging its research, it facilitates the engagement of an informed citizenry with academia, industry and the government through seminars, workshops, conferences, lectures, media presence. 3. Catalyzing Transparent and Accountable Governance: IMPRI collaborates with the government, academic and research institutions, NGOs, businesses and the civil society for research and advocacy for transparent and accountable governance. IMPRI is firmly committed to building a global network of ideas. In pursuit of this, we move beyond just fact-finding and into recommendations to influence policy at all levels of government and communicate to both expert audiences and the public through peer-reviewed research and pieces in the general media. Our core strength lies on the network of diverse and credible research professionals from different fields of study and practices with a commitment to provide cost- effective and high-quality analysis.
