Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM)
(Commencing in August 2015)
Admission Procedure for IPM 2015-20 Batch (For International Applicants applying through SAT)
1. Eligibility Criteria
Definition of International Applicants: Candidates such as i) Persons who are
permanent citizens of a country other than India and residing outside India and ii) Non -
Resident Indians (NRIs) who are not in India during Aptitude Test shall be considered as
'International Applicants'.
To qualify as an NRI, a candidate should be an Indian passport holder who expects to
live or study outside India for at least 12 months continuously between January 1, 2014
and June 30, 2015. The candidates seeking admission as an NRI should produce with the
application the certificate(s) from the Indian Embassy/High Commission/Consulate of
the country where the candidate stayed from January 1, 2014 and June 30, 2015 clearly
stating the duration of stay.
International applicants satisfying the following criteria are eligible to apply for the Five
Year Integrated Programme in Management of IIM Indore.
The candidate must have passed Higher Secondary/XII Std./+2 Level/equivalent
examination from any of the recognized Central or State or International boards.
Candidates appearing or awaiting results for the final examination of Higher
Secondary/XII Std./ +2 level / equivalent can also apply. If selected, such
candidates will be offered admission to the programme provisionally. At the time
of registration for the programme, such candidate must have to produce X and
XII standard marksheet (securing minimum marks i.e. 60%) along with school

leaving certificate/migration certificate, failing which the candidates admission
offer stands cancelled.
Minimum 60% in X and XII standards or equivalent examinations, Maximum 20 years of age as on July 31, 2015
Minimum valid score of 1600 out of 2400 in SAT (SAT score obtained during last calendar year i.e. January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2014 will be only considered as valid score)
Note 1:The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in X and XII Standard would be calculated based on the practice followed by the board from where the candidate has
obtained the certificate. In case the candidates are awarded grades instead of marks,
the conversion of grades to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure
certified by the board from where they have obtained the certificate.
Note 2: Applicants pursuing their X and/or XII standard from international schools affiliated to foreign boards like IGCSE (International General Certificate for Secondary
Education) and IB (International Baccalaureate) can also apply.
Note 3: IIM Indore reserves the right to decide the eligibility conditions in terms of equivalence, percentage marks, and the recognition of the qualifying examination,
intake etc.
2. Application Procedure
Eligible candidates should submit their application online during Monday, March 9, 2015
and Thursday, April 9, 2015 and pay online the non-refundable/non-transferable
application fee of Rs.1000 (Rupees One Thousand only).
3. Selection Procedure
The candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in SAT and Personal
Interview. Any candidate fail to appear in Personal Interview shall not be considered
further during the selection process. The selection process is as follows:
Stage 1: The candidates satisfying the minimum eligibility criteria should submit their application online as described previously in Section 2 i.e. Application procedure.

Stage 2: Appropriate number of candidates (as per the decision of admissions committee) for Personal Interview (PI) will be shortlisted using the merit list generated
based on SAT Score.
Shortlisted candidates shall appear for Personal Interview at any of the six centers (as
mentioned in Stage-2). Individual regret letters will not be sent to applicants who are not
shortlisted for Personal Interview (PI). IIM Indore also expects a consistent and
minimum performance in the different parameters of Personal Interview (PI), which will
be decided by Admissions Committee. Candidates not meeting the minimum
performance in any of PI parameters will not be considered for the next stage of
selection process i.e. Stage-3.
Stage 3: The candidates satisfying the requirements mentioned in earlier stages will only be considered for the final selection. Merit list will be generated based on
Composite Score (CS) as mentioned in Table 1 and provisional admission offers will be
made accordingly adhering to the reservation norms.

No intimation will be sent to candidates who are not selected for final offer.
