ABOUT THE VALLEY SCHEDULE VISITING PLACES Annual Trekking Expedition of Invincible NGO is to famous “Valley of Flowers” in Uttarakhand. The valley is located in Chamoli, Garhwal close to Nanda Devi National Park and the Holy Temple of Badrinath. It is bout 365 kilometers far from Haridhwar. The altitude of the place varies from 10,600 ft to 22,200 ft. Till the May, the valley remains covered with snow. The best time to visit here is in the months of July and August after the snow has melted. That's when the weather is pleasant and the flowers are also in their full bloom of about 550 species in the valley. The valley is bounded by snow covered peaks from all sides and an area of 8,950 hectares here was declared as National park in Sep- tember 1982 and later was added to the list of World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in July 2005. Valley is significant because of the rich diversi- fied flora it has in its bounds. The valley of flowers is an alpine valley, and has been formed by retreating glaciers whose periodic advances and retreat pulverized hard rocks, resulting in a U-shaped valley. Day 01: Departure from Ahmedabad. Overnight train journey. Day 02: Arrival at Haridwar. Half day free & night halt. Day 03: Leaving from Haridhwar in early morning. Reaching Govindghat (starting point of the trek) and night halt at same place. Day 04: Trekking to Ghangharia (13 KM), night halt at the same place. Day 05: Trekking to Valley of Flowers, the heaven on the earth. After spending the whole day in the valley, back to Ghangharia by trekking around 6 KM. Day 06: Trekking to Hemkund Sahib (6 KM) and then back to Ghangharia. Day 07: Trekking to the deep parts of Valley of Flowers and coming back to Ghangharia (12 KM). Day 08: Trekking down to Govindghat (13 KM), Night halt. Day 09: Going back to Haridwar by bus (345 KM). Night halt at Haridwar. Day 10: Sightseeing at Haridwar, the city of temples. Taking an option, one can go & visit the “Queen of Hill stations” - Musoorie & come back to Haridwar by evening. Day 11: Departure for Ahmedabad, overnight journey in train. Day 12: Arrival at Ahmedabad. Hemkund Sahib, Uarakhand. Hemkund Sahib, is a mesmeric lake located at an altitude of 14,700 ft. A wonderful Gurudwara and Temple are here. The gentle cool breeze and musical sound of the streams and water falls seem like heaven on the earth. The movement of the clouds are also a charm for visitors and hence the valley has become one of the most beautiful treks of the world. In many places, wire hanging bridges are formed to cross the river. As per Indian Sculptures & Mythology, God Hanuman had taken some medical plants from this valley only. So it has historic importance. The valley is highly spectacular because it has a wonderful com- bination of snow covered mountains, frequent water falls and lush green valley full with flower bad on the both side of flowing river. The diversity in flowers is amazing here. Mostly all the natu- ral colors and shapes are found. The valley seems like a painted sheet of the almighty during July and August. ABOUT THE NGO HOW TO REGISTER ?

INVINCIBLE is a Non Government Organization (NGO) be-

ing run by young students for social reformation and building a

strong nation. Keeping ethics and value system in centre, the

NGO is working for such activities, which will fill valuable quali-

ties in the youth. For spreading awareness in the field of adven-

ture and nature education, the NGO has planned some very

charming events as per regular basis. Along with this, social and

youth awareness activities are also being done.

To spread the awareness for environmental issues and

make the youth adventurous, the NGO has put a project titled

“SPARSH”. Under the project, 180+ adventure & nature educa-

tion camps are planned throughout the nation in various loca-

tions. The project also includes one national trekking expedition

and one mountaineering expedition per year. All the activities

are being done on NO PROFIT NO LOSS basis.

Project “SPARSH”

Camp Fees: ₹ 9650/- per participant.

Fee includes travelling, food and accommodation expenses from

Ahmedabad to Ahmedabad. Sleeper class train fair is also included in

the fees. The fee doesn’t include the food during train journey.

Rs 8800/- per participant. (Haridhwar - Haridhwar)

The participants who are coming to Haridwar directly on second

day, have to report the camp manager least by 5 o’clock in evening at

given venue. Fee includes all the travel fair, food and accommodation

from Haridhwar to Haridhwar.

Registration: : Please fill up the registration form and pay an advance

of ₹ 5000/- to confirm your booking before 60 days of departure date

for the expedition. The balance payment would be done before 20

days of the departure.

Note: Depending upon the situation and the whether condition, the

schedule may change and hence the organization or any person does

not take any responsibility regarding the same. Fees does not include

sightseeing at any place and other expenses.

Cancellation Charges:**

Minimum @10%

Before 21 to 40 days @25%

Before 11 to 20 days @50%

Before 10 days or less No refund will be paid.

**The cancellation charges are applicable on the full course fees.
