“Pastor, Preacher, Teacher, Servant, Bishop, Father, Husband”
Welcome to the St. Stephen Baptist Church. It is my prayer that this worship experience will be inspiring and rewarding for all in attendance. Allow God to speak to your heart during this time of celebration and devotion to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His unconditional love for all people encourages us to follow Him.
Enjoy the heartfelt singing, fervent prayers, exuberant worship, challenging sermon and warm fellowship with loving, caring and sharing members of this church.
If God speaks to you about joining our ministry, walk forward during the invitation to Christian discipleship period to inquire about membership at the St. Stephen Baptist Church.
Thank you for sharing with us today.
Bishop Lanier C. Twyman, Sr.
GOD’S PLAN OF SALVATION
The Bible says, there is only one way to
Heaven.
Jesus said: “I am the way, the truth, and
the life: no man cometh unto the Father
but by me.” (John 14:6)
Good works cannot save you.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith;
and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of
God: Not of works, lest any man should
boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Trust Jesus Christ today and here's what you
must do:
1. Admit you are a sinner.
Read Romans 3:23, 5:12; 1 John 1:10
2. Be willing to turn from sin (repent).
Read Luke 13:5; Acts 17:30
3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you, was
buried and rose from the dead.
Read John 3:15; Romans 5:8, 10:9
4. Through prayer, invite Jesus into your life to
become your personal Savior.
Read Romans 10:10, 13
Let’s pray:
Dear God, I admit that I am a sinner and need
your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed
His precious blood and died for my sins. I am
willing to turn from my sins. I believe that He
rose again on the third day and I now invite Jesus
Christ to come into my heart and life as my
personal Savior.
Now read John 1:12 and 2 Corinthians 5:17.
