HERE’S THE SCOOP...The Recreation Pre-Authorized Debit Plan is an optional payment plan which provides an opportunity to make equal monthly payments for Saanich Recreation one-year Access Passes, Regional Passes and any designated registered program. The Saanich Access Pass entitles the bearer to use eligible drop in programs at any Saanich Recreation Centre.Some programs include: drop-in swims, skates and most fitness classes as well as use of the weight room/fitness studios. For more information on qualifying classes, programs and current schedules, please call the recreation centre of your choice.

ELIGIBILITY GUIDELINES1. A bank account at a Financial Institution in Canada.2. An Agreement Form must be completed and

submitted with one of the following:• A blank cheque marked “VOID”, or• A clear photocopy of a blank cheque marked

“VOID”, or• A stamped document from your bank with account

information.*NOTE: Eligible payment types can change due to administrative or industry requirements.

MONTHLY PAYMENT AMOUNTA fixed monthly payment amount will be calculated when you purchase a Saanich Recreation one-year Access Pass, Regional Access Pass* or enroll in a designated registered program. Overall pass or program price and monthly payments can increase or change with 10 days notification to the client. *A one time convenience fee is added to all Regional Access Passes purchased on scheduled payments.

PAYMENT DATES1. One monthly payment must be paid immediately

upon purchase (plus a one time convenience fee for all Regional Passes).

2. The remaining scheduled Pre-Authorized Debits will occur based on the client selected option available (i.e. 1st of the month or 15th of the month).

RENEWING PASSESPasses on the PAD Plan may be renewed before or after expiry date. Please provide a new VOID cheque and a new signed PAD form to Reception. The first payment for the renewed pass must be paid at the time of renewal.

REQUESTING CHANGES?Notification to the District of Saanich is required 4 days prior to a payment date for the following:• Changing your bank • Withdrawal from PAD Plans (PLEASE

NOTE: There are no refunds on the Regional Recreation Pass)

DISHONOURED PAYMENTSAll dishonoured payments will be subject to a $20 service charge that will be added to your recreation account and may prevent future transactions until paid.

The District of Saanich may cancel your PAD enrolment and withdraw your pass or registration if a payment is not honoured by your financial institution.

YOUR RIGHTSYou have certain recourse rights if any debit does not comply with this agreement. For example, you have the right to receive reimbursement for any debit that is not authorized or is not consistent with this PAD Agreement. For a joint account, all depositors must sign if more than one signature is required on cheques issued against the account for verification purposes. Your treatment of each payment shall be the same as if I/we have personally directed you to pay as indicated and charge the amount specified to the account of the signatory. Authorization may be cancelled upon 4 days written notice.
