Description

This extended mini-lab activity focuses on Total Knee Replacement (TKA) with the JOURNEY™ II BCS

system. “Meet the Expert” extended experience course will enable greater HCP interaction with the

faculty, providing a more comprehensive learning experience on the day. HCPs will learn about the

philosophy and specifics of JOURNEY™ II BCS and CR. They will practice with the instrumentation

during the wet laboratory sessions and be taught how to apply these surgical principles, gestures

and procedures in their own practice safely and effectively.

The first session consists of lectures related to surgical technique and implant specific design

and philosophy. In the second session, the faculty will perform a live demonstration surgery in the

laboratory with the JOURNEY™ II BCS system; participants will then have the ability to interact with

the faculty and will have the opportunity to practice in the laboratory under the supervision of a

skilled and very experienced faculty instructor.
